Andy Ritan began managing single family homes in 1997 when he bought distressed property in emerging neighborhoods for himself as investments. He renovated them, leased them and created a property management process that is effective, efficient and respectful to all concerned. Andy's education and early career were quite diverse: A graduate of Miami University of Ohio and the University of Chicago Divinity School, Andy has served as Hospital Chaplain, Unitarian Minister, LAN/WAN/Voice/Video Engineer and been successful in Corporate IT Sales. In 2002 he entered the real estate business as a licensee and obtained a broker's license in 2008. Andy became a Georgia licensed general contractor in 2013 through Church Street Home Repair, Inc., a sister company to Ritan Property Group, Inc.
Andy says his varied background has prepared him well for his current business: his counseling experience makes it easy to work with people and with his IT knowledge he was able to create a technology backbone for the business that easily supports owner clients all over the world. Andy has been in Atlanta since 1989. Andy is a member of the Atlanta Apartment Association and has served on the board of Atlanta's chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). He served as president of the Atlanta NARPM chapter in 2009.

Paula has overseen all aspects of residential construction and property management as the founder and owner of Laughing Sun Renovations and owner of several rental properties. She’s originally from Virginia, where she got her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia prior to obtaining an MBA at Emory University. Before delving into the Atlanta real estate market, she was in marketing research and advertising. In her varied career, she has worn high heels and steel-toed boots, and been a participant on every side of the rental market. At Ritan Property Group, she is putting these diverse skills to work by managing owner accounts with the experience of an owner as well as analyzing and coordinating maintenance requests with the eye of a contractor. In her free time, Paula can be found tweaking her serve at the tennis courts, working on her house with her partner, or trying to figure out how to beat her precocious 8 year old daughter at Words With Friends.
Barbara came to Ritan Property Group with over 20 years of experience running the office of a home building and remodeling company. Having handled those varied accounting and administrative tasks, along with her extracurricular study of database design and management, her experiences combine to make her ideally suited for managing the heavily digitized financial recordkeeping needs of Ritan Property Group and Church Street Home Repair.
A native of Atlanta, Barbara brings with her a broad educational background, with psychology and counseling degrees from Emory and Georgia State. Besides enjoying the challenges of keeping the numbers flowing smoothly, designing custom reports, and the occasional detective work required on the job, she also nourishes a lifelong enthusiasm for both creative photography and songwriting in her spare time.
She currently lives in Decatur with her partner and their two cats, a piano, and a few guitars.
